I watch the hummingbirds outside my sewing room window all day and had to make a quilt to pay tribute to the cute little guys!
This is block #1 in a series, all themed around hummers.
This is the right facing hummer. The left facing hummer is also available.
This pattern is for a paper pieced block and assumes you know the basics of paper piecing. However, it is a simple block with relatively few pieces, so would be great for a beginner or advanced beginner.
Block finishes at 9" and is a great scrap busting block!
This would make a very cute zippered pouch or purse panel!
