The next EQ8 Tutorial is now available!

I’m finally back from what seems like a whirlwind of the last month! Hawaii, California, Covid, Texas, etc. I’ve had a blast, and I’m back home for about a month before I head to Lakeland, Florida, for the Original Sewing Expo. I’m teaching five classes there, and three are sold out!!

What am I working on while I’m home? Here’s my list, in order of priority!

Do you remember the unicorn (Unique-orn) we did as a sewalong?? Well, Helen Creasey has completed her next pattern, and it’s just as amazing!!!

I’m working on testing the pattern and making a sample. We WILL be doing a sewalong for this one, as well, so stay tuned for details! I will show you how to work with the large patterns (it’s a bit different from a Legit Kit), how to keep your colors organized, and other tips along the way!

If you haven’t yet, you can preorder the quilt kit now!

The Grace Frame Company is planning their Spring Fling, and I’ve been asked to make a video. My inspiration is “Air” (one of the four elements of creation), and I will be using this photo to create a quilt!

I have a fun project planned using Cathe Holden’s fabric line called Vintage Soul. The instant I saw the fabric, I fell in love! I was also instantly determined to make the potholders in real life. I reached out to Cathe, and with her permission, I’m working on a series where I pick on motif from the fabric, and break it down to figure out how to crochet it!

I started the first potholder while on a plane, and quickly ran out of thread! So I’ll be going another route, but I’m excited about the possibilities on this one!

And finally, Foundation Paper Piecing Tutorials are back! I had to put them on hold while my family had Covid, but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. My goal is to post a new lesson every other week. I’m working in EQ8, as this is my most requested topic (how to design blocks in EQ8). I hope you enjoy the lessons and work along with me!
