Foundation Paper Piecing Tutorials: Week 21 (with a twist)

I thought I’d mix it up a little bit. Were you getting as tired of the apple as I was? Yeah, let’s throw a little challenge into the mix!

This is a cute little block that I had planned originally, but in a much simpler form. Since we are farther along in our tutorials now, I added some details that I feel confident you can handle!

Up until now, we have only assembled two sections together into a block. While this block has decidedly more than two sections, there are no odd angles or tricky seams. It’s fairly straightforward, and the pattern includes a step-by-step assembly guide.

You can use any of the skills you’ve learned on this block! Want a directional background? We’ve done that!

This block finishes at six inches square, just like the other blocks so far in our sampler, but you could print this at any size and use it for another project! I think it would make an amazing tote bag!

As always, have fun, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! I would love to see your progress! Tag me on Instagram or Facebook!
